27 (who?)
After finding the file to the OLD Zero stage select theme. I liked it, and wanted to use it somehow again. Then I thought of something. Why not make a Bad ending to the game.

Update 1/22: How the ending works is gonna be like this. You DO get to fight Zero on easy, unlike the previous concept of the game cutting off at Wily 4. However what will happen is this. If you manage to lose all of your lives to him. You don't get the Game over screen, you get this.

If you manage to beat Zero, UNLIKE Normal mode, where he is just injured, He explodes. And thats it. You DO NOT Progress to Wily Stage 6. You instead get a fake ending.

After you see the ending, it tells you to play the game on normal. This seems far more fair and reasonable then just cutting the game out at Wily 4.

In Normal and above, dying does not give you this game over screen, Zero doesn't explode, and you progress to Wily 6.

However if you attempt to cheat on any mode, this screen will appear and then (Now play without cheating!)

I'm showing this merely because its nothing new I haven't revealed about the game already.

Here is the full OLD ending sequence here

Thereīs one thing bothering me about the mode...
Why you have to play easy mode first?
I mean why not creating a menu where you can choose
on wich mode you will play?
Srry but Iīll rather play in normal mode...
I mean when you play it the first time youīre more excited...
And that play it on normal when you play it the 2nd time you have kinda the feeling
why you do this? Srry no offence. Itīs your project. And Iīm okay with this if it has to be so...
PS: I donīt even know how to hack or cheat other games and
I wonīt do it. Itīs just... the mode...

First of all this is ONLY the result of playing on easy mode. You get to choose the mode. This is nothing more than for people who say OMG I BEAT TEH GAME. thinking they're gonna be rewarded for wimping out. Only to get greeted by this lovely screen.

By default NORMAL is the mode to play.

Cause as I quote the game Balance of Power "We do not reward failure".

personally, I like the idea, but one thing should be changed on this.

the difficulty will affect the way zero is defeated and how far you go, but if you G.O fighting zero on any difficulty, you get this screen.

I think you should go for this ending. I mean, Megaman is designed to be challenging. Easy mode is really there just to give noobs a way to break into the game. But having an ending where they are egged on to play normal mode, I think that's great.

Although, I'm just wondering, how is the game going to tell if the player cheats or not? Just curious.

The fangame Mario Blue Twilight DX had an anti cheat feature. How it would work is there will be two files. one that has the raw stats about the game such as how many bosses have been beaten, what weapons you have, etc... however that file will be encrypted. The hacker will notice another file that has everything unrecognizeable to the point that they'd try to cheat by editing it in a hex editor, the moment they do and try to load the game edited by another program, they will be greeted with this message you see above.

But there is a chance I may end up doing the Password function like the old games.Probably not though. I've got this all planned out.

You know. To be fair. It would be nice if you can save between the Fortress Stages, just so it can feel easier.
Is dying Cat Man's stage still gonna be there?
